Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Mainchester — the AI-assisted social media management service provided at mainchester.com, app.mainchester.com and via our Telegram bots (together, the "Service"). Mainchester is a trading name of Web Print & Signs Limited (company no. 16585795), a company registered in England with registered office at 20 Burnley Road, Nelson, Lancashire, BB9 5HS, United Kingdom ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Mainchester creates, schedules and publishes social media content on your behalf using artificial intelligence, monitors engagement on your connected accounts, and provides related reporting — via Telegram and a web dashboard. Content is published only to social accounts you connect and authorise, and (unless you enable automatic posting) only after you approve each post.

2. Accounts & eligibility

• You must be at least 18 and authorised to act for the business you register.
• One Telegram account corresponds to one client business. Keep your dashboard link and Telegram account secure — they act as your login.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the business information you provide.

3. Free trial

New accounts receive a 7-day free trial including one post per day across your connected channels, with no payment card required. When the trial ends, posting pauses until you subscribe to a paid plan. We may adjust trial terms for new signups at any time.

4. Plans, billing & cancellation

• Paid plans are billed monthly in advance (prices at mainchester.com/#pricing). Posts beyond your plan's monthly allowance may incur per-post overage charges as shown at signup.
• You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice.

5. Your content & your accounts

• You retain all rights to your brand and content. You grant us a licence to create, adapt and publish content on your behalf solely to provide the Service.
• Approving a post (or enabling automatic posting) is your instruction to publish it. You are responsible for the final content of everything published to your accounts.
• You must have the right to use any material you supply (photos, logos, product details).

6. AI-generated content

Content and images are generated by AI and may occasionally be inaccurate or require editing. Review posts before approving them. We do not guarantee any particular reach, engagement, follower growth or commercial outcome.

7. Third-party platforms

The Service connects to platforms including Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Google and Telegram. Your use of those platforms remains subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for platform outages, API changes, or actions those platforms take against content or accounts. You authorise us to access your connected accounts via official APIs solely to provide the Service, and you may revoke that access at any time.

8. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to publish content that is unlawful, deceptive, infringing, hateful or harassing; to send spam; or to violate any platform's rules. We may decline to publish content and may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

9. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law. Otherwise, the Service is provided "as is"; our total liability arising from the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profits, or loss of data.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate the Service for breach of these Terms or where required to protect the Service, other users or third-party platforms. On termination we disconnect your social accounts and delete your data in line with our Privacy Policy.

11. General

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified via the Service. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. Contact: hello@mainchester.com.
